Satcom modems have been popularized through the need for fast data communications for home and commercial use

We offer two types of Satcom SCPC Models: 
1. Dream/ Super Dream. and
2. Extreme.  (DamaREAdy Modem) with DAMA (Demand Assigned Multiple Access) and ABOD (AdaptiveBandwidth on Demand.
Extreme is our high end product that contains extensive BITE (built in test equipment), and supports many different interfaces

The DREAM / SUPER DREAM Modem: 
  • Optional IF band support:(70M or L-band) 
  • Data rates TPC or LDPC to 22MBPS and to 16QAM 
  • In standalone mode, this is an IP based Routing, SCPC modem,. Can be used as either: 
  • A Stand alone SCPC,/Point to Point modem or 
  • DREAM Super : mini Hub modem,  or 
  • super efficient DAMA (Demand Assigned Multiple Access) based SCPC modem. With ABOD) 
  • Multiple STAR or MESH networks 
  • Central network status display, spectrum analyzer display etc at the DAMA control hub.
EXTREME Advanced SCPC Modems to 64QAM/155Mbps.   

Options include: IP only, to 4 x E1 per carrier or 3 x E1 and IP, DVB-S2 and extensions, LDPC+ codes and SIMU-Carrier(similar to paired carrier). 

  • EXTREME MODCOD options: 18KB to 155 Mbps, to 64QAM, LDPC+ (optional lowest latency, lowest Eb/No or best compromise.) 
  • To 4 x E1/T1, Drop and Insert mux. 
  • SIMU-carrier (2 carriers share the same uplink and downlink frequency) 
  • EXTREME: includes ACM. Option (Adaptive Coding and Modulation) with DVB-S2 and extensions 
  • EXTREME DVB-S2 Modulator, DVB-S2-/ACM, to 16APSK. (including IP/DVB-S2 encapsulation) available 
  • BITE (modems include extensive Built In Test Equipment), eg Carrier under Carrier (real time, 24/7 interferer analyzer, monitor and alarm), 
  • Bit Error rate (BERT), Spectrum analyzer etc 
  • 4G backhaul support  ( needs a special accelerator)  
  • Important for ANY satcom backhaul: “Standard IP accelerator will not work with 4G) 
  • 1+1; 1+N, Redundancy 
  • Multi IF band support:(70M/140MHz and L-band) 
  • LDPC/BCH, TPC FEC options 
  • Terrestrial interface options including Ethernet: EIA-530, G.703 (balanced & unbalanced), OC3, STM-1,   
  • Serial LVDS, ASI, HSSI, Quad E1 mux
